Ingredients
  

For the Pie
  • 1 piece pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 pieces eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce For drizzling
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Can substitute with pecans or omit

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place your pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Evenly distribute the sliced apples over the bottom of the pie crust.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the apple slices.
  7. Carefully pour the cheesecake mixture over the apples.
  8. Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the top.
  9. Bake the pie for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are golden brown.
  10. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, use flavored cream cheese. Chill the pie in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving for the best flavor.
