Ingredients
  

For the Jello Layers
  • 2 cups orange flavored gelatin
  • 2 cups lemon flavored gelatin
  • 1.5 cups boiling water
  • 1.5 cups cold water
For the Whipped Cream Layer
  • 2 cups whipped cream (or whipped topping) Store-bought or homemade
For Garnishing
  • to taste candy corn For decoration

Method
 

Preparation of Layers
  1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of orange flavored gelatin with 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water, and stir again. Pour the mixture into the bottom of clear cups or a serving dish and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until firm.
  2. In a separate bowl, prepare your whipped cream. Spread a thin layer of whipped cream over the set orange gelatin after it has firmed.
  3. In another bowl, dissolve 2 cups of lemon flavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water, add 1 cup of cold water, and let cool slightly. Pour this mixture over the whipped cream layer. Refrigerate again for another 30 minutes until set.
  4. Once the yellow layer has set, add another layer of whipped cream on top.
  5. Add a few candy corn pieces on top for decoration. Serve immediately or chill until ready to enjoy.

Notes

Make sure each layer sets properly to maintain the visual appeal. You can experiment with different flavors for variation. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
