- Wash the jalapeños and slice them into rings.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, apple cider vinegar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar completely.
- Carefully add the jalapeño rings into the boiling syrup.
- Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Cook for about 5 minutes until the jalapeños soften.
- Remove the pan from the heat and allow the jalapeños to cool in the syrup for at least an hour.
- Transfer the jalapeños along with the syrup to a clean jar, seal it tightly, and refrigerate.
- For best flavor, let them sit for at least 24 hours before serving.
