Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix on low speed until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Gently fold in the mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, crushed graham crackers, and optional nuts.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper, then pour in the batter and spread evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan before frosting, if desired.
Serving
- Slice into squares and serve immediately, watching for smiles from family members!
Notes
Store Camping Cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight and warm in the microwave for 10-15 seconds before serving.
