Preparation
- Crumble the cake into fine pieces in a large bowl.
- Add the frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until fully combined.
- Take a small amount of the mixture and mold it firmly around each popsicle stick.
- Chill the molded Cakesicles in the refrigerator for at least 15-20 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in intervals until smooth.
- Dip the chilled Cakesicles into the melted chocolate until fully covered.
- Sprinkle with toppings while the chocolate is still warm.
- Set the coated Cakesicles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for about 10 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
Notes
Store Cakesicles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to a month. Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving after freezing.
