For the pudding base
  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder Ensure it’s Halal-certified
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk Or any preferred plant-based milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar Or your favorite natural sweetener, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract Optional, but adds great flavor
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles For that birthday cake vibe
  • a sprinkle salt To enhance flavor

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the vanilla protein powder, almond milk, sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract (if using), and a pinch of salt. Whisk it all together until smooth and creamy. You can also use an immersion blender for an even smoother texture.
  2. Once combined, pour the mixture into serving bowls or cups and let it sit in the fridge for about 5-10 minutes to thicken.
  3. After chilling, stir the pudding and top with colorful sprinkles and any other desired toppings such as whipped cream.
  4. Serve immediately or store in the fridge for later enjoyment.

Notes

This pudding can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days in an airtight container. Best enjoyed cold, but can be warmed for 10 seconds in the microwave if preferred.
