Cooking the Pasta
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Seafood
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add garlic, shrimp, and scallops. Season with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the seafood is opaque and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Preparing the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and let it melt. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer, then add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
Combining Ingredients
- Add the cooked pasta and seafood back into the skillet. Toss everything together until evenly coated with the sauce. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.
Serving
- Plate the dish, garnishing with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color. Enjoy!
