Preparation
- Begin by washing and finely chopping the cabbage.
- Heat the olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped cabbage and sauté for about 5–7 minutes, or until it becomes soft and tender.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste while sautéing the cabbage.
Cooking
- In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them until well blended.
- Once the cabbage is tender, create a little well in the center of the skillet and pour in the whisked eggs.
- Allow the eggs to set for about 1 minute before gently mixing everything together.
- Stir until the eggs are fully cooked and combined with the cabbage.
Serving
- Once cooked, remove from heat.
- Top your Cabbage Eggs with grated cheese, if desired, and sprinkle chopped herbs or red pepper flakes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For best flavors, serve with a light salad or crusty bread. Leftovers can be refrigerated and are best reheated on the stovetop.
