Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Cut the chilled butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the buttermilk. Stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced peaches until evenly distributed.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and pat it into a rectangle about 1-inch thick. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
Baking
- Place the cut-out biscuits on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Serving
