Preparation
  1. Begin by cleaning the shrimp if they aren’t already. Peel and devein them.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Ensure it doesn’t brown—just let it become fragrant.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the cleaned shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Drizzle with lemon juice to add freshness.
Assembly
  1. Lightly toast the rolls if desired.
  2. Spoon the garlic butter shrimp into the rolls.
  3. Add fresh lettuce and tomato slices to the rolls.
  4. Serve immediately while warm and buttery.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. For longer storage, freeze the shrimp mixture for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight and reheat in a skillet.
