  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella) Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.
  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup ranch dressing Drizzle for extra creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce.
  3. In a greased casserole dish, spread half of the tater tots as the base layer.
  4. Top the tater tots with the buffalo chicken mixture, spreading it evenly.
  5. Pour ranch dressing over the chicken layer and sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Layer the remaining tater tots on top of the chicken and drizzle with the rest of the cheese.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and cheese has melted.
  8. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes. Can be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
