  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce Ensure it's Halal-friendly.
  • 1 cup cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions Chopped (for garnish).
Topping Ingredients
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and softened cream cheese. Stir until well mixed and creamy.
  3. Fold in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese into the chicken mixture.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, remaining cheddar, and mozzarella cheese. Drizzle with olive oil, and mix well.
  2. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chicken layer.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Once baked, remove it from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving!

Notes

You can replace the chicken with turkey or plant-based proteins for a vegetarian option. Adjust the spice level of the buffalo sauce according to your taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
