Ingredients
  

For the Bruschetta Mixture
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes Fresh, ripe tomatoes work best.
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped Substitute with parsley or arugula if needed.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional Parmesan cheese for topping Add for extra flavor.
For the Baguette
  • 1 loaf French baguette, sliced Sliced diagonally for better texture.

Preparation
  1. Start by washing your tomatoes and basil. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes and chop the basil finely. Mince the garlic.
Mix the Tomato Mixture
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, fresh basil, and minced garlic. Pour in the balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Stir everything together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toast the Baguette
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil, and season with a pinch of salt. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Serve It Up
  1. Once the baguette slices are ready, transfer them to a serving platter. Spoon the bruschetta mixture generously over the warm toasts, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For variations, consider adding diced avocados for creaminess or crumbled feta for extra flavor. Let the tomato mixture sit before serving to enhance flavor.
