  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can be substituted with gluten-free flour.
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Feel free to use white or dark chocolate chips.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the 1 cup of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and 2 cups of granulated sugar until well-blended.
  4. Whisk in the 4 large eggs one at a time, followed by the 1 tsp of vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. In another bowl, combine the 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup cocoa powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  2. Once baked, let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  3. Cut into squares, serve, and enjoy every bite!
