Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out your thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to prevent sticking.
- Cut the puff pastry sheet into rectangles approximately 4 inches by 6 inches.
- Place a breakfast chicken sausage at one end of each rectangle and roll the pastry over the sausage, tucking it snugly.
Baking
- Pinch the ends of the pastry to seal, trimming any excess if needed.
- Whisk the egg in a small bowl and brush each wrapped sausage for a golden finish.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes and serve with honey mustard for dipping.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months and reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
