  • 2 cups peaches, sliced Fresh or frozen peaches work well.
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Crispy Topping
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine blueberries and sliced peaches.
  3. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the fruit mixture. Toss gently to coat the fruit evenly.
  4. In another bowl, mix together rolled oats, all-purpose flour, and melted unsalted butter to create the topping.
  5. Pour the fruit mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  6. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the top of the fruit filling.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For variations, try substituting peaches with nectarines or using different types of berries. Avoid overmixing the topping to prevent it from becoming chewy.
