Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the milk, melted butter, and egg together until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, being careful not to crush them.
  6. Lightly flour your work surface, turn out the dough, and knead for about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Roll the dough into a rectangle (about 12×10 inches) with a rolling pin.
  8. Sprinkle the dough with cinnamon and brown sugar evenly, starting from the longer side of the rectangle.
  9. Carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the ends to seal.
  10. Cut the log into 1-inch thick slices and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  11. Pop them into the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. While rolls are baking, mix the icing sugar with a little water to create a glaze.
  13. Once baked, let them cool slightly before drizzling the glaze over the top.

Notes

Ensure to store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, microwave for about 10-15 seconds or reheat in the oven at 350°F for 5-10 minutes.
