  • 2 teaspoons high-quality jasmine green tea leaves Use fresh tea leaves for the best flavor.
  • 2 cups fresh water Preferably freshly filtered.
Optional Garnishes
  • 1 slice lemon Enhances flavor and adds visual appeal.
  • 1 sprig fresh mint For added flavor and decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. While waiting for the water to boil, grab 2 teaspoons of jasmine green tea leaves. If using tea bags, one bag will suffice.
  3. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from heat and let it cool for about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the jasmine green tea leaves to the hot water and let them steep for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. If using loose tea, strain the leaves from the infused water and pour the tea into your favorite teacup.
  6. For an extra touch, consider adding a slice of lemon or a sprig of fresh mint.

Notes

For best flavor, drink your Blue Jasmine Green Tea fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a microwave-safe cup in short intervals. For a cold brew, steep in cold water for 4-6 hours in the refrigerator.
