- Carefully place a small mozzarella ball inside each tomato. Press down gently to fit it snugly.
- Place a fresh basil leaf on top of the mozzarella, allowing it to peek out for that authentic look.
- Slice black olives into small rounds and place one on top of each mozzarella ball, mimicking the pupil of an eyeball.
- Slide a toothpick or skewer through the assembled eyeball, starting from the base, to hold everything in place.
- Plate your caprese bites and drizzle them generously with balsamic reduction to finish the look.
- Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy your spooky bites!
