Ingredients

Wrap Ingredients
  • 4 large large flour tortillas
  • 1 pound seasoned ground beef or turkey Can substitute with black beans or grilled veggies for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños Optional, for those who like a kick!
  • Olive oil or non-stick spray For cooking on the Blackstone.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the seasoned ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain any excess grease and stir in the taco seasoning, cooking for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Lay out the large flour tortillas. In the center of each tortilla, spread about ¼ cup of refried beans, followed by one-quarter of the seasoned meat mixture.
  3. Top the meat with shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños if using.
  4. Carefully fold the edges of the tortilla toward the center, creating a square 'wrap.' Press gently to secure the filling.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium heat and spray with olive oil. Place the wraps seam-side down on the griddle.
  2. Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and slice in half for a beautiful presentation. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or salsa!

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap the meat for black beans or grilled veggies. Ensure your Blackstone is adequately pre-heated for crispy perfection; avoid overstuffing the wrap for easy folding and cooking.
