Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb steak (such as sirloin or flank) Feel free to adjust based on availability or preference, ensuring it aligns with your Halal requirements.
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (like bell peppers, onions, and broccoli)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For grilling.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • to serve cooked rice or noodles For serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing your steak into thin strips. Chop your mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Gather all your ingredients for a smooth cooking experience.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and allow it to heat until shimmering.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add your steak strips in a single layer, seasoning with salt and pepper. Let them sear for about 2-3 minutes, until nicely browned. Flip them to cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Toss in your mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are bright and tender-crisp.
  4. Drizzle the soy sauce over the mixture and stir everything together, cooking for an additional minute to meld the flavors.
  5. Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with any desired toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the stir-fry in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave.
