Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar until fully combined.
- Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool.
Cream Cheese Layer
- In a large mixing bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping.
Assembly
- Once the pretzel crust is cooled, spread the creamy mixture evenly over the crust.
- Spread the blackberry jam on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Scatter the fresh blackberries over the jam, arranging them as preferred.
Chilling
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours (or overnight) to allow the layers to set.
Serving
- Once fully chilled, cut into squares and serve to family members.
Notes
For substitutions, feel free to swap out blackberries for strawberries or raspberries. Make sure to press the pretzel crust firmly for a solid base.
