Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. This ensures even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces, black pepper, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Let it sear for 4-5 minutes until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  3. Toss in the sliced bell pepper, minced garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  1. Season with salt to taste, remove from heat, and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
