Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed Ensure it's chilled for flaky texture.
  • 3/4 cup milk Use whole or low-fat depending on preference.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Optional, for sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.

  4. Pour in the milk, mixing gently until a soft dough forms. Avoid overworking the dough.
  5. On a floured surface, turn out the dough and gently knead about 5-6 times. Roll to about 1-inch thickness and cut out circles with a biscuit cutter.
Baking
