Big Mac Pizza

Big Mac Pizza is a playful twist on the iconic fast-food burger, featuring ground beef, special sauce, melty cheese, and crisp lettuce on a pizza crust.

Ingredients
  

  • - 1 pound pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • - 1/2 pound ground beef 80/20 or leaner
  • - 1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
  • - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheddar-mozzarella blend
  • - 1 cup shredded lettuce iceberg or romaine
  • - 1/2 cup sliced pickles dill or your preference
  • - 1/4 cup diced onion yellow or white
  • - Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. **Brown the ground beef** In a skillet over medium-high heat, crumble and cook ground beef with salt and pepper. Stir occasionally until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed and set aside.
  2. **Preheat oven** Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
  3. **Roll out dough** On a floured surface, roll or press the pizza dough into a circle or rectangle, about 12 inches in diameter if making a round pizza. Transfer the dough to the prepared pan.
  4. **Make the special sauce** In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, diced pickles (or relish), vinegar, and optional sugar. Adjust seasoning to taste. Reserve half of this sauce for topping after baking if desired.
  5. **Assemble the pizza** Spread half of the special sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Sprinkle the browned ground beef over the sauce, then top with shredded cheese. If you like, sprinkle sesame seeds around the crust edge to mimic a burger bun.
  6. **Bake** Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. **Add fresh toppings** Remove the pizza from the oven. Drizzle with remaining sauce if desired. Top with shredded lettuce, sliced pickles, and diced onion. Slice and serve warm.
