  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if desired
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For added richness
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley For freshness
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten Acts as a binder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano Adds flavor
  • 1 tsp dried basil Adds flavor

  • 1 cup marinara sauce Optional, for serving

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil. Mix until well combined without overworking.
  3. Form the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. You should have about 20-24 meatballs.
Cooking
  1. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned on the outside.
  2. Optional: Warm marinara sauce on the stovetop and serve it alongside the meatballs for dipping or over spaghetti.

Notes

If using leftovers, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or microwave.
