- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Carefully pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly, and allow it to simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak in the sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter sauce, substitute half of the heavy cream with chicken broth. Ensure chicken breasts are even in thickness for consistent cooking and consider using a meat mallet. For extra spice, add red pepper flakes.
