Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced Ensure chicken is fully cooked
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed Do not overcook, should be vibrant green
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz) Make sure it's halal
  • 1 cup sour cream Use plain yogurt for a lighter option
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or cheese blend
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Plain or seasoned
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken and steamed broccoli. Stir to distribute evenly.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli mixture. Stir gently until everything is well-coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter until they’re evenly coated. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken and broccoli mixture.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your loved ones!

Notes

If you have leftovers, you can refrigerate for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2-3 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
