  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, melt the butter until it’s completely liquid.
  3. Stir in the sugar into the melted butter until well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, blending until smooth and shiny.
  4. Sift the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder into the wet ingredients. Gently fold until just combined.
  5. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish and pour the brownie mixture into it, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out slightly crumbly.
  2. Let the brownies cool in the dish for at least 10 minutes before cutting them into squares.
