  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries) Feel free to use your favorite berries.
  • 4 pieces eggs
  • 1 cup milk Whole milk recommended for creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For added flavor.
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional) For added sweetness on top.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Tear the croissants into bite-sized pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  3. Scatter the mixed berries over the croissant pieces.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the custard over the croissant and berry mixture, pressing down gently.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  7. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before dusting with powdered sugar and serving warm.

Notes

For variations, consider using chocolate chips or chopped nuts instead of berries. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, and reheat in the oven or microwave.
