  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4-1/2 cup butter Melted for frying
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • to taste Oil For frying
  • 1 large onion, sliced Optional but recommended for caramelizing

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing the beef liver into thin pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper to create a flavorful coating for the liver.
  3. Dip each slice of liver into the flour mixture until they are well-coated.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter and add a little oil over medium-high heat to prevent the butter from burning.
  2. Add the floured liver to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are browned and cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until they are golden and caramelized.
Serving
  1. Plate the liver and top with the sautéed onions. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Choose fresh liver for the best taste. Avoid overcooking to keep the liver tender. Feel free to experiment with additional seasonings to enhance flavor.
