Preparation
- Gather and prepare your ingredients. Slice the beef against the grain for maximum tenderness and cut your bell pepper into strips.
Cooking
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until it’s browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the sliced bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until they’re slightly softened but still vibrant and crunchy.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan and pour in the soy sauce. Stir everything together to coat the beef and peppers in the savory sauce.
- In bowls, layer your cooked rice and then top with the beef and pepper mixture. Garnish with any optional toppings you like for extra flavor.
Notes
If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Can also be frozen.
