  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken You can use shredded rotisserie chicken for added flavor.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (make sure it’s Halal-compliant)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Reserve half for topping.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (Halal-friendly)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped For garnish.

Preparation
  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Stir the mixture until everything is thoroughly combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Finish off with the chopped green onions as a garnish and serve it up with your favorite chips or veggies.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze before baking and thaw in the refrigerator overnight before baking.
