Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter to the mashed bananas.
- Add baking soda and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
- Gradually add the flour into the mixture and stir until just blended. Avoid overmixing!
- Line a muffin tin with muffin liners or grease it with cooking spray.
- Fill each muffin cup about 1/2 full with batter.
- Spoon a pinch of Nutella into each cup, then use a knife or skewer to swirl it into the batter.
Baking
- Bake for around 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and let cool. Enjoy these decadent muffins while they’re warm!
Notes
Store muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for about a week. For longer storage, freeze individually wrapped for up to 3 months.
