Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine mashed bananas, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each cavity about halfway.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the doughnuts cool, melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth.
Glazing and Serving
- Dip the tops of the cooled doughnuts into the chocolate glaze and place on a wire rack to set.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for a month. To reheat, microwave for 10-15 seconds or warm in an oven at 350°F (175°C).
