Banana Cheesecake: A Delightful Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 cups of half-and-half milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Mass of cookies with butter for the base
  • 4 sliced bananas

Method
 

  1. Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and butter to form a crust. Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish to create a firm base.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In another bowl, blend together sugar, flour, and salt.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients: Gradually add half-and-half milk to the dry mixture until fully blended.
  4. Cook the mixture: Place the bowl over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens slightly.
  5. Incorporate the yolks: Beat the egg yolks, then mix in a small amount of the hot mixture. Pour everything back into the pot and cook for a few minutes over low heat while stirring.
  6. Add the butter: Remove from heat, and incorporate the butter until fully melted and mixed.
  7. Layer the cheesecake: Pour the cream mixture over the cookie crust, layer the sliced bananas on top, and bake at 175 °C for 15 minutes.
  8. Cool and serve: Take it out of the oven, let it cool, and it’s ready to be enjoyed!
