  • 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze Can be store-bought or homemade.

Preparation
  1. Hull and slice the strawberries into bite-sized pieces. Make sure your fresh mozzarella is well-drained, and cut the balls in half if they are large.
  2. In a large serving bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, mozzarella, and basil leaves.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the salad. If desired, add a touch of extra virgin olive oil for added richness.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Using a large spoon, toss the ingredients gently until everything is evenly coated with the glaze.
  6. Transfer to a serving platter and enjoy immediately for the freshest flavors.

Notes

The salad is best served fresh but can be prepared a few hours in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
