  • 2 fillets white fish fillets (such as cod, haddock, or tilapia) Choose fresh fish with bright, shiny skin.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 whole lemon (sliced) Adds flavor and beautiful presentation.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional Seasonings
  • fresh parsley For garnish.
  • garlic powder Optional seasoning.
  • paprika Optional seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the white fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Place the fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the fish and season with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
  5. Lay sliced lemons on top of the fillets.
Cooking
  1. Bake the fish for about 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Once done, sprinkle fresh parsley on top for added flavor and a pop of color.

Notes

Serve Baked White Fish with steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad. For storing, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C).
