Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Peel if desired, but leaving the skin on adds nutrition.
- Slice the potatoes into about 1/4-inch thick rounds.
- Place the potato slices in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings. Toss until well coated.
Baking
- Arrange the seasoned potato slices in a single layer on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once golden and crispy, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Try using a mandoline slicer for uniform thickness and dry the potato slices completely before oiling to achieve maximum crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for about a month. Reheat at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes.
