Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish lightly with non-stick spray or a little olive oil.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir together and cook for about 2-3 minutes.
- Pat your tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Place the seasoned tilapia fillets in the baking dish and pour the lemon butter sauce over them.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon slices.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
