- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a three-step breading station: Mix flour with salt, pepper, and paprika in one bowl, beat the egg in another bowl, and add bread crumbs in a third bowl.
- Dip each chicken piece first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat it in the bread crumbs, pressing lightly.
- Arrange the coated chicken pieces on a greased baking sheet, spaced out for even cooking.
- Lightly drizzle the breaded chicken with oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the exterior is golden.
- Drizzle hot honey over the baked chicken just before serving.
Notes
If using different bread crumbs, feel free to substitute with crushed cornflakes or gluten-free options. Let the chicken rest for at least 5 minutes after baking, and ensure there's space on the baking sheet to avoid steaming.
