Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse the chicken leg quarters under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub mixture generously over the chicken leg quarters.
- Place the seasoned chicken leg quarters skin-side up in a baking dish, spaced out for even cooking.
Cooking
- Bake in the oven for 45 minutes to an hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- For added crispiness, turn on the broiler for the last 5 minutes.
- Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
Notes
Got leftovers? Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and heat for about 20 minutes, removing foil for the last 5 minutes for crispiness.
