  • 1-2 cloves garlic, sliced For adding flavor.
  • to taste fresh rosemary or thyme Optional for additional flavor.
  • to taste tablespoons olive oil Drizzle over the cheese.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • for serving slices bread or crackers Choose your favorites.

Method
 

Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove the Camembert from its packaging and place it in an oven-safe dish.
  3. Using a knife, score the top of the cheese in a crisscross pattern.
  4. Insert sliced garlic into the cuts in the cheese.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the cheese and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add fresh herbs if desired.
  6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot with your choice of bread or crackers.

Notes

If using leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
