  • 8 ounces 8 ounces cream cheese Can substitute with vegan cream cheese.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (dill or chives, finely chopped) Choose preferred herbs.

Preparation
  1. If using mini bagels, slice them in half. If using regular bagels, cut them into smaller rounds. Toast them lightly to achieve that crispy texture.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese with freshly chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
  3. Evenly spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on each toasted bagel half.
  4. Place a few cucumber slices on top of the cream cheese to create a colorful display.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle extra herbs on top for garnish or add a drizzle of olive oil for flavor.

Notes

For best taste, assemble the bites right before serving to prevent sogginess. Store toasted bagels separately from the cream cheese and cucumbers.
