- Slice the ripe avocado and tomato. Have the mozzarella cheese ready.
Butter the Bread
- Spread a generous layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
Layering the Filling
- In a skillet over medium heat, place one slice of bread buttered side down.
- Add a layer of mozzarella cheese, followed by sliced avocado and tomato.
- Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, then finish with another layer of mozzarella.
Top It Off
- Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
Grilling
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the sandwich over and grill the other side for another 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
Serve
- Remove from pan, slice in half, and serve warm.
