Ingredients
  

  • For the Frikadellen
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 small onion finely grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying

  • Lemon wedges
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, grated onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, salt, black pepper, paprika, marjoram, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  • Step 2: Shape the Patties
  • Divide the mixture into 8-10 equal portions and shape them into oval or round patties, about ½-inch thick.
  • Step 3: Fry the Frikadellen
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side. Pair with potato salad, mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad.
