Ingredients
  

For the pie
  • 2 cans cans of biscuits Make sure to choose Halal-friendly biscuits
  • 2 cups diced apples Fresh or canned
  • 1 cup sugar Adjust for sweetness if using fresh apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup apple pie filling Can be substituted with fresh apples
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 scoop Vanilla ice cream Optional, for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the cans of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Toss until the apples are well coated.
  4. Add the apple pie filling to the bowl and mix gently.
  5. Carefully fold the biscuit pieces into the apple mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Pour the melted butter evenly over the top.
Baking
  1. Place your baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Allow it to cool slightly, then scoop generous portions into bowls. Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

To ensure success, coat the biscuit pieces well and check your oven for proper baking time. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
