- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 4 cups peeled and sliced apples a mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp works great
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: Caramel sauce for drizzling
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Prepare the Crust: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
