  • 2 pieces Croissants Flaky and buttery for best results.
  • 4 ounces Goat Cheese (softened) Soften before spreading.
  • 1 medium Apple (sliced thinly, preferably a sweet variety like Honeycrisp) Adds a sweet crunch.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey For drizzling over the apples.
  • A pinch of Salt For flavor enhancement.
  • A dash of Pepper For flavor enhancement.

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing your apple thinly with a sharp knife.
  2. If your goat cheese is cold, let it sit out for a bit or microwave it for about 10 seconds.
  3. Slice each croissant in half lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  4. Generously spread the softened goat cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Layer the thin apple slices over the goat cheese, sprinkling a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
  6. Drizzle a tablespoon of honey over the apple slices.
  7. Place the top half of the croissant back on and press down gently.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within a day. Reheat in a toaster oven to maintain flaky texture.
