Preparation
- Start by slicing your apple thinly with a sharp knife.
- If your goat cheese is cold, let it sit out for a bit or microwave it for about 10 seconds.
- Slice each croissant in half lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Generously spread the softened goat cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Layer the thin apple slices over the goat cheese, sprinkling a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
- Drizzle a tablespoon of honey over the apple slices.
- Place the top half of the croissant back on and press down gently.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within a day. Reheat in a toaster oven to maintain flaky texture.
