  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix together oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the melted butter into the dry mix, stirring until everything is evenly coated and crumbly.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer the cinnamon apples at the bottom. Spread the oat mixture evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let them cool slightly before serving. These bites can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for best flavor. Keep an eye on the crisp as it bakes to avoid over-baking. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
